Breast Thermography Services For Irvine

Irvine Spine & Wellness Center is pleased to provide you Breast Health Screening known as Breast Thermography. It has been known that the human body is thermally symmetrical and our normal thermal patterns are constant and repeatable. In the presence of disease and abnormality, this symmetrical thermal pattern changes and can be detected by Thermography.

What is Breast Thermography?

An FDA approved, painless, radiation-free, affordable clinical imaging procedure to assess the unique heat patterns of breasts to identify suspicious patterns in the breast and monitor changes over months and years.

Who performs the test?

Brenda Witt is the thermography technician trained and certified by the American College of Clinical Thermology at Duke University.

Who reads the images and reports?

Images are sent to an interpretation service who employ medical doctors who are all board certified as thermologists by the American College of Clinical Thermology at Duke University. These doctors have many years experience and are able to ask for second opinions whenever necessary.

Does it replace mammography?

Breast Thermography works together with mammography and can detect changes months or years in advance. When the thermology results indicate abnormality, there may be a need for mammography for further clarification. While mammography is a valuable tool to detect cancer, most mammograms are negative while exposing women to radiation.

Can women with fibrocystic disease and implants benefit from Thermography?

Absolutely YES!

Does my insurance cover this clinical procedure?

No, unfortunately the same way that your insurance does not cover your vitamins and supplements, nor does it cover for your organic foods and bottled water, this service is not a covered service. We hope that you value your health and consider this valuable tool an investment in your health.

Who should I call to make an appointment or ask more questions?

Dr. Cocks Asks some important questions of interest to Irvine residents - Chiropractor Irvine Dr. Cocks Asks...

What does a chiropractic adjustment do?
Chiropractic adjustments give your spine a little "nudge" at the right place, right time and the right direction so your body can use that energy to "right" itself. With a schedule of consistent chiropractic visits, a new, healthier spinal pattern emerges.
What's the difference between chiropractic and medicine?
Medical treatment focuses on the disease or the symptom. Chiropractic focuses on the person with the disease or the symptom. Medical treatment usually involves changing blood chemistry. Chiropractic involves restoring nervous system integrity. Medical doctors prescribe medicine. Chiropractors adjust the spine—a common source of nervous system interference.
