Introducing Irvine Chiropractor Mamak Shakib, DC, MTA, CSP, EFT-ADV
Dr. Shakib earned her Bachelor degree in human biology and is a Los Angeles College of Chiropractic alumna where she received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. She is licensed by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the California Board of Chiropractic Examiners, a Cranio-sacral therapy practitioner, Ergonomic consultant, certified Metabolic Typing advisor and trained in the field of Functional Endocrinology and EFT . Dr. Shakib's purpose in life as a Wellness Coach is to assist others in reaching their optimum health by bringing individual's awareness to the Triune of Health consisted of the Structural, Nutritional and Emotional balance. Dr. Shakib has published several articles on a variety of health related topics and has been guest lecturer at small and large organizations and events. She is the director of Irvine Spine and Wellness Center in Irvine, California.
Introducing Irvine Chiropractor Steven M. Cocks, DC
Dr. Cocks earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1991 and is licensed by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the California Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Dr. Cocks has a strong chiropractic family background; he had 12 years of experience in the field with his family's practice and others and went on to become a doctor in the profession he loves. He has performed extensive volunteer work for various non-profit organizations. Being proficient in a variety of adjusting techniques, Dr. Cocks' patients vary from toddlers to the elderly.
Introducing Irvine Chiropractor Daniel Cocks, DC
Dr. Daniel Cocks earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX in 2007. He is licensed by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the California Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Dr. Dan brings a unique and fresh perspective to Irvine Spine and Wellness Center. He has been active in sports his entire life and has been a state and national champion in football and track and field. While in Chiropractic school, Dr. Dan had the opportunity to treat patients ranging from the elderly, professional athletes to infants. He knows the value of having the spine in perfect alignment to obtain the maximum potential of our body. He has mastered many techniques to correct disorders that occur due to malposition of the spine and extremities.
Dr. Dan has been around chiropractic his entire life and has always enjoyed its benefits. He knew this was the profession for him after being involved in a roll over accident back in 1999. He was suffering from severe headaches after the accident that had him sleeping through the day and avoiding any lighted areas, these headaches had never bothered him prior to the accident. After being treated with chiropractic care for several weeks, the headaches have gone and have not been back. Dr. Dan continues to see a chiropractor to this day and has regular check ups to assure proper health for himself. His wife and two daughters are also treated on a regular basis.
